Derrick Edwards

Derrick joined Responsibility.org in the summer of 2016 as a communications associate, shortly after graduating from Towson University. Derrick knew at an early age that he wanted to pursue a career that would enable him to be creative, leading him to obtain his degree in Mass Communications. Before joining the team, he held several internships in local advertising agencies and spent a summer working for the WMATA’s in-house marketing department. While searching for open roster positions for the Los Angeles Lakers upon graduation, Derrick came across Responsibility.org and jumped at the opportunity to work for an impactful and positive cause.
Born and raised in the Washington DC Metropolitan area, Derrick enjoys life in the city and exploring surrounding areas. In his spare time you can find him passionately debating music or sports with friends.
