Grace McKinnon

Associate, Educational Programs

Grace joined the team in 2018 as an educational programs associate. This position allows Grace to expand program stakeholders through community outreach, research and program development.

Grace is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker and received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University (SU) in 2016 and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Howard University in 2017 in the Macro field of practice with a concentration in Health. In her time at SU, Grace played in the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra, assisted her peers with academic and personal writing at the University Writing Center and became a proud member of the Nu Rho chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

As a social worker and Delta, the core values of each organization are guiding tenants of Grace’s life and interactions with others. As an individual, Grace is passionate about personal development, suicide awareness, holistic health and well-being, creative arts, and compassion.  Grace’s guiding life philosophy is rooted on the foundational belief of the healing power of kindness, love and authenticity and the innate human capacity for resilience.
