Tom Grane

Director, Educational Programs

Tom Grane is the Manager of Education Programs. Tom has worked with K-12 and higher education programs his entire career. Prior to coming to Responsibility.org, he worked at C-SPAN in their education relations department. He has also worked as an outreach specialist and dual enrollment coordinator at Northern Virginia Community College, and as a high school teacher in Southern Maryland. He holds a bachelor’s in Secondary Education from Penn State University and a master’s in Educational Psychology from George Mason University. Throughout his career, he has enjoyed working with educators around the country to develop new strategies to engage students.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Tom has lived in the D.C. area since 2006. He currently lives in Alexandria with his wife and miniature schnauzer, Nittany. In his free time, he enjoys running, watching Jeopardy, and annoying his wife with the most recent Star Wars news.
