Congratulations to the Lead the Break Winners!

It’s been a great spring break season! With over 1,000 submissions, college students from all over the country have proved that they can enjoy spring break productively and responsibly.

The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility and The BACCHUS Initiatives of NASPA are proud to announce the winners of the first “Lead the Break” Instagram Contest!

2nd Runner Up:

Congratulations to Sarah M. from Bentley University!  You are the 2nd runner up! Thank you for highlighting the reality of spring break!

1st Runner Up:

The 1st Runner up prize goes to Alaina R from Ohio University who spent her spring break hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up! Congratulations on your new iPad Air. We thank you for being a productive leader amongst your peers!

Grand Prize Winner:

The Grand Prize goes to Colleen B. from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Congratulations on setting the example for your peers through your hard work and responsible behavior! We hope you like your new Macbook Air as much as we loved your submission!

We’d also like to thank all the participants who shared their amazing pictures with us and helped us in our goal of starting 2 million conversations during Alcohol Awareness Month. They are a great example to all their peers and proof that spring break does not have to be about high risk drinking. Students spend spring break doing incredible activities, and we are proud to have been able to showcase their creative, dynamic, productive and responsible behaviors.
