IKnowEverything visits Bangor High School in Bangor, WI!

Earlier this week, IKnowEverything traveled to the small town of Bangor, Wisconsin to host the challenge at Bangor High School. The Bangor High School FCCLA chapter has been gearing up for IKnowEverything ever since they were chosen.  The Bangor High School FCCLA advisor, students, and staff were overjoyed to have us at the school. We filled the gymnasium with over 200 students!

We even had a special guest in attendance! David Pabst, Director of Wisconsin State Patrol, Bureau of Transportation Safety traveled all the way from Madison, Wisconsin to attend the event. Mr. Pabst was excited to have joined us at Bangor High School, as he stressed the importance of teen driver safety. Mr. Pabst found our challenge to be very unique because not only did the students learn about teen driver safety, but they also helped us collect data for a national study. It’s a great chance for students to be part of the solution.

Bangor High School’s FCCLA advisor, Ashley King, ended the event with a raffle for FCCLA backpacks. All of the students that downloaded a driver safety app on their cell phones were placed in the raffle. It was a unique and fair way to raffle off the backpacks, while also encouraging the students to learn more about teen driver safety.
