LessThanUThink goes to the SEC Tournaments!
More great news from the LessThanUThink Camp!
It’s been almost a year since The University of Alabama students filmed a public service announcement featuring NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal, and the good news keeps coming!
After airing during the first quarter of the BCS Championship game between UofA and Notre Dame, the LTUT PSA will air now air twice in two weeks! The first time will be during the SEC women’s basketball tournament in Duluth, GA between March 6th and 10th. The second time will be during the SEC men’s basketball tournament in Nashville, TN between March 13th and 17th.
It fills us with great pride that LessThanUThink, a student led campaign, has managed to provide the PSA with national coverage, as it brings the issue of high risk drinking into light. It is also a testament to the fact that students can and should be part of the conversation and the solution to high risk drinking on college campuses. They can do wonders!
If you’re attending the tournaments, keep an eye out for the PSA! And if you haven’t seen it yet, you can do so here!
LessThanUThink is a student-generated campaign addressing the national problem of high risk drinking on college campuses. It reaches out to college students through humorous messages that emphasize the negative social consequences of binge drinking. Originally funded by The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility, the campaign was launched in 2010 on The University of Alabama campus and is managed by advertising and public relations students at The University of Alabama through the student-run firm, The Capstone Agency.
