Attorney General Greg Zoeller Recognized With The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility’s 2013 Leadership Award

WASHINGTON, DC--Today, The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility, a national not-for-profit organization funded by distillers dedicated to fighting drunk driving and underage drinking, recognized Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller with its 2013 Leadership Award. During his tenure he has shown an outstanding commitment to fighting drunk driving and underage drinking in Indiana.

The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility has worked with Attorney General Zoeller for many years on various public service announcements to encourage youth to talk with their parents about alcohol. Sharing these educational messages via traditional and social media, Attorney General Zoeller has been able to reach thousands of youth and adults in Indiana. Attorney General Zoeller also provided steadfast leadership on the recent implementation of Indiana Lifeline law which protects young people from arrest, if they seek help for an alcohol-related medical emergency.

“Attorney General Zoeller continues to be a tremendous leader on the prevention of drunk driving and underage drinking in Indiana,” said Ralph Blackman, President and CEO of The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility. “Whether it is working on messages encouraging parents to talk with their kids or encouraging youth to say “Yes” to a healthy lifestyle and “No” to underage drinking, we look forward to our continued partnership and thank him for dedication to these important issues.”
