Four Organizations Join Responsibility.org Corporate Partner Program in Q3 2021

Arlington, Va. (October 14, 2021) – Today, Responsibility.org announced the addition of four companies to its Corporate Partner Program in Q3, 2021. For over 30 years, Responsibility.org has worked to create practical and effective tools to empower adults to make a lifetime of responsible alcohol choices, eliminate underage drinking and stop impaired driving, with the ultimate goal of creating healthier and safer communities and saving lives. This work is crucial and requires collaboration and innovation at all levels.

The Responsibility.org Corporate Partner Program allows the organization to leverage and focus more resources to decisively tackle these issues while working alongside partners to create a culture of social responsibility. The value of working jointly to tackle these societal issues cannot be overstated and the organization is dedicated to bringing all stakeholders into the fold—promoting responsibility is a collective effort.

Since 1991, Responsibiliy.org has been committed to building a strong culture of alcohol responsibility. While the organization cannot lay claim to all of the progress, there has been a 36% decline in drunk driving fatalities, binge drinking among young people has declined nearly 50% and 87% of American adults self-report that they are confident they drink responsibly. This progress is possible because of the strong partnerships Responsibility.org has forged with private sector partners, governments, parents, and community leaders. By joining the Corporate Partner Program, these organizations directly support Responsibility.org’s science-based and data-driven initiatives such as “Safe Night,” “National Alliance to Stop Impaired Driving (NASID),” “Alcohol 101+,” and “Ask, Listen, Learn.”

“Responsibility.org is dedicated to building new partnerships to tackle emerging challenges. By joining the Corporate Partner program, these organizations demonstrate their commitment to corporate responsibility and willingness to lead on these critical responsibility issues,” said Chris Swonger, president and CEO of the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) and Responsibility.org. “As an organization, we believe that collaboration breeds innovation, and we are proud to work alongside our Corporate Partners, member companies and other critical organizations and leaders to build on the progress we have made over the last 30 years—together, we will work to create healthier and safer communities across the country.”
