National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week: Will you #StartSomething?

This year, National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week NCAAW runs October 21st to 25th. It’s a week to increase awareness of the harmful impact that binge drinking can have on college campuses and how we can work together to prevent it.

At The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility, we know that college binge drinking is one of the most important issues that our youth face as they transition from high school to college life. We understand that students go through a stressful time as they seek to fit in with their new surroundings in order to fully live the college experience.

We believe that a comprehensive approach, which includes all stakeholders is the best way forward. Throughout this whole week, we will be highlighting our different initiatives on our NCAAW page, through our twitter feed and our blog. We will be featuring a guest blog every day from different partners which highlight how a comprehensive approach is the best way to address this issue.

Tell us what you or your campus will be doing this year! Tweet us @centurycouncil, @TCCEducation, and @BACCHUSnetwork and let us know how you will #startsomething this NCAAW week!
