Podcast: How to empower students to fight college binge drinking
On September 10th, The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility joined The BACCHUS Network and sponsored a webinar focused on how different groups are fighting college binge drinking.
We heard from the Less Than You Think team from the University of Alabama, The Less Than You Think team in Orange County, CA, and from the team at Eastern Michigan University.
We greatly appreciated the time and effort the presenters put into this webinar. It was a highly-engaging session. All three teams talked about their student-led campaigns on campuses, the obstacles they faced and the success they achieved.
The conversation revolved around fighting college binge drinking and how students can and should be part of a comprehensive approach to tackle the issue.
We were also very happy to have an engaged audience as many had several questions regarding best practices, evaluation of the programs and tips on implementing similar campaigns on their campuses.
