State Attorneys General Honored for Leadership on Safety Issues

Each year, the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility is proud to honor Attorneys General who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the ongoing fight against drunk driving and underage drinking.

This year, we are proud to recognize the following Attorneys General for their dedication:

  • Jack Conway (D-Kentucky)
  • Bob Ferguson (D-Washington)
  • Tim Fox (R-Montana)
  • Marty Jackley (R-South Dakota)
  • Peter Kilmartin (D-Rhode Island)
  • Derek Schmidt (R-Kansas)
  • Alan Wilson (R-South Carolina)

Some Attorneys General promoted teen driver safety in their communities and worked to prevent underage drinking and binge drinking across their states. Others worked to stop impaired driving and pass effective legislation, such as mandatory ignition interlock laws, in their states. They all engaged their constituents on social media and encouraged a lifetime of conversations about alcohol responsibility. We appreciate their support and applaud their continued efforts as they work to keep roads and citizens safe in communities across the country.

The photos included in this post were taken this past April, when Attorneys General from aroud the country joined Responsibility.org to film PSAs with Two-time National Champion and Olympic Medalist Ashley Wagner. The goal was to help spark a conversation between kids and parents about the dangers of underage drinking.
