Dr. Kim Van Dusen is a mom of two and the CEO/Owner/Founder of The Parentologist. She has a Master’s in TV Broadcasting and Marital and Family Therapy as well as her Doctorate in Psychology. She is a Licensed Therapist, Registered Play Therapist, Professor, Public Speaker, Blogger, and Podcast Host of The Parentologist Podcast. She is a writing contributor for many publications including Parents, Yahoo!, and TODAY Parents. She has had appearances on national television for Merit Street Media and can also be seen locally on FOX 5, CBS 8, ABC 10, and heard on KFI 640AM. Dr. Kim is currently writing her first non-fiction parenting book that will be published in May 2026.
