April is Alcohol Responsibility Month

For more than 30 years, we at Responsibility.org have made an impact on all three of our mission areas:

  • Eliminating underage drinking
  • Eliminating drunk driving and working with others to eliminate all forms of impaired driving
  • Empowering adults of legal drinking age who choose to drink to do so responsibly

But we have not done this alone! With the support of our funding members, corporate partners, craft supporters, our National Advisory Board, and people like you, we are keeping more kids alcohol-free, taking strides to make our roads safer, and educating adults about making smart, informed choices about alcohol.

Since the inception of Responsibility.org, drunk driving and underage drinking have reached record low levels. Drunk driving fatalities have decreased 15% since 1991 and lifetime alcohol consumption among our nation’s youth has decreased 55%.

Throughout this Alcohol Responsibility Month, whether you’re a parent, a driver, a friend, a host, a colleague or anything in between, take a moment to consider how your choices and behaviors impact you and those around you. Recognize the choices you make and give yourself the credit you deserve for making responsible choices about alcohol. Responsibility looks great on you.
