Responsibility.org’s Judicial Advisory Board includes judges and other experts who work closely with and within the judicial system. The Board members’ expertise guides the Responsibility.org team in navigating the complex DUI system to contribute to the impaired driving prevention efforts and in assessing data and circumstances that aid underage drinking prevention initiatives. With their guidance, Responsibility.org has identified needs and offered valuable solutions, including the Computerized Assessment and Referral System (CARS), to help address underlying mental health disorders that contribute to the dangers of drunk and impaired driving and to connect people with the treatment they need. They have also directed the organization-wide approach to calling attention to the dangers of high-risk drunk drivers and have contributed to the creation of guides and positions on jury selection, e-warrants, and safety throughout the judicial system as they relate to drunk and impaired drivers.Â
