Tom Grane is the Director of Educational Programs for Responsibility.org. Tom has worked in education his entire career, including various K-12 and higher education programs. Currently he oversees Responsibility.org’s Ask, Listen, Learn, Alcohol101+, and Responsibility Works programs. Prior to coming to Responsibility.org, he worked at C-SPAN in their education relations department, in various student services roles at Northern Virginia Community College, and as a high school teacher in Southern Maryland. He holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Penn State University and a master’s degree in educational psychology from George Mason University. Throughout his career, he has enjoyed working with educators around the country to develop new strategies to engage students.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Tom has lived in the DC area since 2006. He currently lives in Alexandria with his wife and young daughter. In his free time, he enjoys watching Penn State football, learning about history, playing with his daughter and tuning in to Jeopardy every night.
