10 Organizations Join Responsibility.org Corporate Partner Program in Q1, Q2 2021

ARLINGTON, VA (July 22, 2021) – Today, Responsibility.org announced the addition of 10 companies to its Corporate Partner Program in the first half of 2021. Founded in 1991 and funded by America’s leading distillers, Responsibililty.org is a national, independent, not-for-profit organization leading the fight to end impaired driving, eliminate underage drinking and promote responsible consumption. Through cutting-edge, science-based educational programs, resources for policymakers and practitioners, and innovative communications campaigns, the organization is blazing a new trail toward progress on these critical issues.

By joining Responsibility.org’s Corporate Partner Program, these companies and organizations underscore their commitment to making our nation’s communities healthier, roads safer, and drinking behaviors more responsibleThe Corporate Partner Program supports best-in-class initiatives, such as “Safe Night,” “National Alliance to Stop Impaired Driving (NASID),” “Alcohol 101+,” “Ask, Listen, Learn,” and more. We know these initiatives work – since our founding drunk driving fatalities have declined by 36%, binge drinking among American youth has declined by 50%, and 87% of American adults report that they drink responsibly. We are proud of this work – but know there is still work left to do.

Our Corporate Partner Program is designed to bridge the gap between the private sector and the non-profit world on these critical issues, creating a necessary dialogue and equipping our partners with the tools they need to advance their own corporate responsibility initiatives while simultaneously supporting initiatives to end drunk and impaired driving, eliminate underage drinking and advance alcohol responsibility.

“We’re pleased to welcome our new corporate partners, all of whom have committed themselves to saving lives and keeping our kids and communities safe,” said Chris Swonger, president and CEO of the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) and Responsibility.org. “These organizations recognize the value of corporate responsibility, and we are proud to have them join our fight to shape the ongoing national dialogue around responsible consumption, impaired driving and underage drinking.”

Our new Corporate Partners are:

Today, Responsibility.org is transforming – and improving – the way Americans view and address the issues of drunk driving and other forms of impaired driving, underage drinking, and responsible alcohol consumption on both a national and community level.
