College Students & Alcohol

In spite of numerous efforts by government, academia, and advocacy organizations, dangerous overconsumption of alcohol remains a major health and safety issue affecting college students on campuses across the nation.

Binge drinking levels have remained constant. Over the past few years, we’ve heard directly from college students - they’ve told us about their Stupid Drink, about why it takes Less Than U Think and about The Other Hangover. We’ve learned what a Copious Confident means and why the Greeks and jocks aren’t always the worst offenders. And we know parents continue to be a strong influence once a kid is on campus.

Talking with your kids about alcohol early and often is the best way to keep them safe. Remember to continue these conversations throughout college and beyond. If your kid is over age 21, click here.
