National Sheriffs' Association encourages sheriffs to use IKnowEverything

Sheriffs know a lot about teen driver safety. We see and talk to teen drivers and their parents every day on the roads, we also work in schools and elsewhere in the community to encourage safe driving.

The National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) is a proud partner of The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility on the IKnowEverything teen driver safety program. IKnowEverything is a dynamic, modern resource that can help law enforcement in their outreach with teens and their parents. During National Teen Driver Safety Week, we are encouraging law enforcement to use the video, along with the facilitator’s guide and other materials that provide key statistics and teen driver safety information in a modern, engaging way. These resources can be used by sheriffs as a supplement to their existing teen driver safety programming, or as a catalyst to start a new outreach initiative in their office.

NSA provides programs for Sheriffs, their deputies, chiefs of police, and others in the field of criminal justice to perform their jobs in the best possible manner and to better serve the people of their cities, counties or jurisdictions. NSA serves as the center of a vast network of law enforcement information, filling requests for information daily and enabling criminal justice professionals, including police officers, sheriffs, and deputies, to locate the information and programs they need. We strive to continue this important work through partnerships with organizations like The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility and to provide IKnowEverything as a resource for all Sheriffs across the nation.
